As Tables 1 and 2 indicate, the employment rate of our graduates is as high as 80.1%, of which, 42.1% are engaged in education-related work. This phenomenon reflects the integration of our theoretical and practical courses, from which students receive adequate English training so that they can apply in practice what they have learned in school.
In addition to being required to have a good command of English, students are also expected to specialize in some applied areas such as English teaching, education, management, and other job-related studies. Our Department's seminar/thesis training is designed for such purposes. Through such training, students not only can improve their English ability but can also use their thesis when they look for jobs or apply for graduate studies. Table 3 shows graduation seminar/thesis topics of our students. In particular, a substantial portion of our students take up English teaching as their seminar/thesis topic.
