At present, our faculty is composed of 24 full-time teachers, including 10 associate professors, 8 assistant professors and 6 instructors. Their specialties range includes TESL, Linguistics, English and American literature, Cross Cultural Studies, Translation, Business English,and ESP. Moreover, more than 50 foreign instructors and professors are in charge of the school-wide Practical English Program and other English courses in our department.

In 2006, more than 900 students are studying in our department, including 15 classes of day program students and 6 classes of in-service students.
